Sondgeroth, Yvonne A. (Marriage - June 1974)
Mr. and Mrs. Gerold Susa, who were married at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church,
Thorp, by the Rev. William Buchman, are making their home at rural Greenwood. A
reception at the Quonset Hall, Thorp, followed the afternoon ceremony.
The bride, the former Miss Yvonne A. Sondgeroth, is the daugher of Mr. and Mrs.
Wayne Sondgeroth, Rt. 1 Thorp and Mr. and Mrs. Giles Susa Rt. 1 Greenwood, are
the groom’s parents.
For her wedding, the bride chose a gown of voile and venise lace fashioned with
a high neckline, empire bodice and butterfly sleeves. A petal cloche with pearl
trim secured her veil of nylon illusion.
Mrs. Trudy Barth, Stanley, was the matron of honor and Linda Stouff and
Bernadine Mertens, both of Thorp, were the bridesmaids.
Attending the groom were Lee Susa, Greenwood, as bestman, and Don Barth, Stanley
and Giles Susa, Jr., Greenwood, as groomsmen.
Diane Mamayek was the soloist and Joe Possley, the organist.
A 1973 graduate of Thorp High School, the bride is employed at the Thorp Care
Center. Her husband graduated from Greenwood High School in 1967 and is employed
by a Greenwood implement firm.
