Tioga (6 Feb 1919)
Lulu and George Bedell called on Lottie Cole Sunday.
Some of the young folks spent Saturday evening at Hans. Hogenson’s.
C.J. Bigelow of Chili was a caller in our neighborhood on business one day last
week.
Bernice Cole went to Humbird Saturday to spend Sunday with relatives.
Mrs. Wm. Linster went to Eau Claire Friday to spend Sunday with her mother.
Willie Manthey was in Neillsville last Thursday.
Ern Flick was in Greenwood Saturday between trains.
Sylvia Markham died at her home Friday morning with diphtheria.
Louise Hogenson was in Fairchild Saturday.
Wales Bedell was in Owen a couple days last week.
Ed. Bloomquist has been quite sick with the flu.
David Phillips came home Saturday morning from a camp in Washington.
Mrs. Hannah Palms and Jack Ripplinger autoed to Neillsville Saturday.
Mack Butler and Mrs. Nora Cole autoed to Neillsville Thursday.
Dr. Dean arrived here from North Dakota last Monday to visit his sister, Mrs.
W.E. Palms.
The stork stopped at the home of Gene Palms and wife last week and left a
daughter.
Etta McCloud returned from Eau Claire to resume her school duties after being
sick with the flu.
