Country Farm Corners (13 Feb 1919)
Wayne and Harland Potter and Frank Lueke and the writer attended an auction
north of Heintown Monday.
Emil Winkleman, Frank Greeler and D.H. Rhines are putting up the summer’s supply
of ice, hauling it from Frank Lueke’s ice pond.
George Wilson has an official tester testing his herd of Holstein Frisians to
enter as A.R.O.’s.
Melchior Hoesley and Aug. Poziomka were Marshfield visitors Monday.
Paul Beyer and Harvey Rhines attended the dance at Christie Friday evening and
had a jolly good time with excellent music from Neillsville.
Mrs. Adam Coenen and baby went to Sauk City last Thursday to visit relatives and
friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Frei, Sr., of Neillsville were Sunday visitors at the Chas.
Kupke and Herman Miller homes.
Ed. Gault, Sr., is working for F.A. Wilson this winter for exercise, he says.
Good for you, Ed. Most people only work for what’s in it.
