Word was received that Floyd Hagie is at Camp Grant.

Mrs. Beach called on Mrs. Linton and Mrs. Matousek Friday afternoon.

Myrtle Ottow spent Sunday afternoon at home.

Frank Matousek is spending a few days in Chicago on business.

George Strubing and family, cousin Clyde, and Ed. Hagie spent Sunday afternoon with Wm. Ottow and family.

Cora Hagie and Cleo Conlin spent Saturday night and Sunday with Dr. Matheson and family.

The basket social in Kauth’s school, taught by Mrs. Beach, was well attended and all reported a good time. They took in $27.00.

Edith Kegley returned from Marshfield Thursday where she underwent an operation for the removal of the tonsils.

Mrs. McCarl and John spent Friday with Wm. Ottow and family.

Mrs. Linton is recovering from a light attack of the flu.

Mrs. McCarl and John spent Thursday with Geo. Strubing and family.

Lloyd Kleinschmidt and friend of Evansville came to visit his father, Wm. Kleinschmidt.

Mrs. Aug. Nickles spent Sunday with her daughter, Mrs. Ottow.
