Chili (13 Feb 1919)
Word has been received from Wayne Waterman from France that he was about to take
his first step toward home.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Montag were Marshfield callers between trains Monday.
Mrs. Minnie Prust and Mrs. Chas. Ferrell visited in Heathville over Sunday.
Forest Green and Jay Waterman were Marshfield visitors Friday.
Mrs. Sample is entertaining company from away.
Sam Muir moved his family to Tripoli Tuesday. Miss Mary Kampin accompanied them.
Mrs. H.H. Henning and children spent a few days at the Geo. Fraser home in
Granton.
Last Wednesday being Mrs. Ferrell’s birthday a number of Chili friends took
baskets and gave her a splendid surprise. Games and dancing were enjoyed by all.
Mrs. Clark Waterman and little daughter spent Wednesday and Thursday at the E.A.
Beeckler home in Granton.
Herman Montag has sold lots to Mr. Anderson of Nasonville. Herman will vacate by
March 1st.
