Rouse, Josephine (6 Feb 1919)
Legare Apfel and Miss Josephine Rouse were quietly married in Neillsville Feb.
6th, 1919, at 2:30 o’clock by Rev. L.B. Colman. They were attended by Glen
Wright and Miss Emilie Rouse of Columbia. After the ceremony a reception took
place at the home of the groom’s parents, and a wedding supper was served to 75
guests. They received many beautiful presents. The groom is the only son of Mr.
and Mrs. John Apfel and an honorable and industrious young farmer of the town of
Levis. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Rouse of Columbia, a young
lady of most estimable and kindly characteristics and has many friends. They
will go to housekeeping at once on the farm where the groom has been for the
past eight years. We join with their many friends in wishing this young couple a
happy and prosperous life.
