Last Week
Oscar Northup and family and Miss Hannah Turville spent last Friday evening with
Mr. Hoesley and family.
John Krejci called on his brother, Joe, in Fremont, Saturday.
Wellon Hartson, wife and daughter of Greenwood were visitors with the M. Snyder
and Frank Krejci families last week.
Will Bradford is having dental work done in Neillsville.
A.B. Schuler and wife and Harland Potter took in the dance and supper in
Neillsville, given by the R.N.A. No. 78 camp last Wednesday evening.
A.C. Kiefer of Greenwood was in this vicinity last week selling milking
machines.
Walter Graves, formerly of this vicinity, but now of Dorchester, and a friend of
his, called at the John Kelly home Friday.
Miss Ellen Miller recently returned from Evanston, Ill., to visit with the home
folks for a few months.
A jolly good time the neighbors and friends had Sunday evening at the home of
John Kelly, celebrating Mrs. Kelly’s birthday.
The Charles and Frank Greeler families were Sunday callers at the Geo. Frei,
Sr., home in Neillsville.
Miss Carrie Turville did practice teaching in Dist. No. 3, York and Grant, a
week ago.
Emil Winkleman and wife autoed to Marshfield last Thursday and were visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Peck, as both were patients there. At present they are
getting along nicely.
