Globe (27 Feb 1919)

Grandma Klueckman is quite sick and under the doctor’s care.

Mr. and Mrs. Len Schultz are the proud parents of a baby boy, born Feb. 24.

A large number of young people gathered at the home of Bruno Henchen to greet their son, Arnold, who returned home that day from Camp Grant, where he received his discharge. Arnold looks good and we are all glad to see him back. He is the first of our boys to return from France.

Joe Bodwin is quite sick at this writing.

Mrs. G. Mallig and Mrs. L. Kalsow are visiting relatives in Granton.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Scheel, Jr., entertained some friends Sunday afternoon, it being their daughter, Dora’s, birthday.

Some of Aug. Beyer’s friends helped him celebrate his birthday on Thursday evening.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Eric Schoenherr Feb. 23.
