West Eaton (27 Feb 1919)

Carl Davey called at the Bostwick home Monday morning.

Mr. Podobnik and children spent Sunday evening at the Bostwick home.

Mrs. Persin and two children attended church at Willard Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. George Gemmeke spent Sunday afternoon with the latter’s brother, Henry Gemmeke.

Mr. Podobnik and children attended church at Willard and also called at Mr. Parkhill’s Sunday morning.

H. Bostwick called at the Yartz farm Sunday to see a sick cow.

Willie Zells called at the Gemmeke home Monday.

Mrs. George Gemmeke and Mrs. H. Bostwick were Willard shoppers Tuesday afternoon.

Lyle Bostwick spent Sunday at the A.L. Borgers home.

The Glee Club met with Mrs. Geo. Gemmeke Sunday evening and had a fine time. Many beautiful hymns were sung and it surely did seem to hear hymns sung once more.

Mr. Podobnik has been hauling bolts at Owega the past week.

Mrs. Gemmeke has been sewing for Mrs. Podobnik the past week.

Victor Bahl and Clause Anderson called at A. Davey’s one day last week.

Clause Anderson left the first of the week to visit his people in Illinois. We wonder if this is a honeymoon trip, Clause. We will have cowbells ready for you when you get back.

Mr. and Mrs. Podobnik and children spent Sunday evening with the Gemmeke’s and took in the Glee Club.

Jason Bostwick and Miss Iva Goss attended the Glee Club at the Gemmeke home Sunday evening.
