Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind. (AHTNC) – Army Pvt. David A. Worden, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Kenneth W. Worden, Route 3, Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, complete the
five-week disbursing specialist course at the Finance School, Fort Benjamin
Harrison, Indiana, March 16, 1962.
Worden received training in methods and procedures used in accounting for
receipts and payments by Army finance disbursing offices. He received
instruction in the payment of civilian and military personnel travel allowances,
commercial accounts, disbursing operations and modern finance and accounting
principles.
Worde entered the Army last October and received basic training at Fort Carson,
Colorado.
The 19-year-old soldier is a 1961 graduate of Greenwood High School.
