Mrs. Jo Ann Meinholdt, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) High School, head cook and hot lunch cafeteria manager, has been awarded a $25.00 prized in the 1961 Gage Recipe Contest for her "Chinese Vegetable Dinner" recipe.

The Gage Recipe Contest was open to all dieticians, school lunch cooks, and institutions, extending from January 1st, 1961 to December 31st, 1961. The requirements of the contest were that each recipe must contain at least one Gage product and U.S.D.A. commodities on 100 servings.

The purpose of the contest is to assist in the project of improving lunches by sharing knowledge with other large quantity cooks.

Mrs. Meinholdt has been the hot lunch manager in the Greenwood High School for the past four eyars. She is wife of Oscar "Doc" Meinholdt. They have one daughter, Ida Gene.
