Stoss, Henry Jacob “Hank” (2 July 1939 - 25 May 2016)
Henry Jacob (Hank) Stoss, 76, of Granton entered into the loving arms of our
Lord Wednesday, May 25, 2016. After a lengthy struggle with congestive heart
failure, he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Hank was born at home, to Jack and Kathy (Baltz) Stoss in Milwaukee, July 3,
1939. Hank met Carol Johnson in November of 1960. They fell in love and were
married Sept. 15, 1962. They lived in West Allis for several years before
building a house and moving to Palmyra. After seven years, they decided to move
to Granton. Through the years, Hank worked in a foundry, drove semi and worked
as a custodian for both Neillsville and Granton schools.
Hank is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Hank is survived by his loving wife, Carol; their four children: Karrie (Scott)
Doll of Marshfield, Michael (Vicky) Stoss of Marshfield, Sharrie (Kevin)
Langreck of Neillsville and Sharlene (Bruce) Prust of Chili; 14 grandchildren:
Jessica (Brian) Wilson, Tiffany Doll, Shelly (Mike) Bissonette, Elizabeth Stoss,
Mitchell Langreck, Ashely Prust, Matthew Stoss, Stephanie (Aaron) Rasmussen,
Tyler Prust, Joshua Stoss, Nicole Langreck, Alex Langreck Mackenzie Prust and
Colten Stoss; five great-grandchildren, Lindsey Wilson, Chloe Wilson, Daphne
Wilson, Karsten Bissonette and Mallory Wilson; and one brother, William (Sharon)
Stoss of Oconomowoc. Hank also leaves behind relatives, friends and his faithful
beloved dog, Roamy.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Satruday, June 4, 2016 at Living Hope
Evangelical Free Church in Neillsville. Pastor Steve Wentz will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the
church.
