Peterson, Edward (20 JAN 1875 – 24 MAY 1962)
Edward Peterson, son of Andrew and Olive Peterson, was born January 20, 1875 at
Neillsville (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, and passed away May 24, 1962 at Monterrey,
California.
When 7 years old he moved with his parents to Greenwood and resided on the
Peterson arm, now occupied by his nephew, Lloyd Peterson.
He attended Greenwood school. In 1904 he moved to North Dakota, where he made
his home until 7 years ago, when he moved to Monterrey Park, California.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday by Rt. Rev. Msgr. Chas. O'Carroll at
Pierce Brothers Chapel. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Albert, a sister, Mrs. Maria
Jolivette.
He leaves his wife, Mae, a son, Chester of Anchorage, Alaska, 2 daughters, Mrs.
Florence Lawe of Alhambra, California, and Mrs. Gertrude Winter of Monterrey
Park; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Belle) McConnell of Greenwood; 8 grandchildren and
4 great-grandchildren.
