Ramm, Clarence O. (21 FEB 1923 - 26 MAY 2016)

Clarence O. Ramm, 93, of Medford, died Thursday, May 26, 2016.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11:00 AM - 4 PM at Ray Ramm's house (N3672 Shattuck Ave, Medford WI) on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Interment will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Taylor County.

Clarence was born February 21, 1923 at home in Medford to Willham and Gertrude (Zastrow) Ramm. He attended Pleasant Heights and Immanuel Lutheran School. Clarence married Jessie Porter on July 11, 1945 in Medford.

Clarence was a dairy farmer, until retirement in 1985. He also worked at various places including: Hurd Millwork, Metzler Monuments, logging, and enjoyed driving for the Amish.

Clarence is survived by his seven children: Gerald of Stanley, Alvin (Marie), Jean, Donald, Lola, Ray (Ester Truckey) and Lucy Hanish all of Medford, nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters: Ella Hommel, Betty Zuleger, and Joyce Ramm.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Jessie (December 2003), two children: David Ramm and Joan Keuffer, two sisters: Emma and Ruth and a brother: Ferdinand.
