Thomson, Robert J. (9 April 1882 - 18 May 1974)

Funeral services were held May 21 in Tacoma, Wa., for a former Granton area man, Robert J. Thomson, who died May 18 in Tacoma at the age of 92. Burial was in Mountain View Memorial Park.

Mr. Thomson was born April 9, 1882, at Brighton Beach, England, and came to the United States as a child with his parents. The Family lived in Detroit, Mi., for two years before moving to the Granton area. He had lived in Tacoma for many years, but returned to this area periodically on visits.

Survivors include three children: Mrs. Hope Thomson Lind, Mrs. Ruth Thomson Elliott and Everett Thomson; and a sister Mrs. Eva Davis of Memorial Home.

Mr. Thomson led an active life until approximately five weeks before his death.
