Lehman, William Mr/Mrs (Golden - June 1974)
Approximately 150 well-wishers greeted Mr. and Mrs. William Lehmann of Granton
Sunday at the open house honoring their 50th wedding anniversary. The afternoon
event was planned by the Lehmanns’ children.
Among those present for the observance were the following children, sons and
daughter-in-law, and grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Dageforde, Jill and Doug,
St. Paul, Mn; James Lehmann, Louisville, Ky.; Dr. and Mrs. Elroy Lehmann,
Tripoli, Libya; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Miller, Grand Rapids, Nb.; Mr. and Mrs. Mel
Smith, Todd, Simi and Brian, Appleton; Mrs. Carole Fox, Minneapolis, Mn. One
other son and his family, Col. and Mrs. Raimon Lehmann and children of
Frankfurt, Germany were unable to attend.
Others in attendance included Mrs. Lehmann’s sisters: Mrs. Meta Timm of
Tomahawk, Mrs. Marie Umland of Birnamwood and Mrs. Grace Pegorsch of Shawano;
Mr. Lehmann’s sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Triegloff of Caroline,
and his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Lehmann of Marion; nieces
and nephews and their families, Bonnie Daigle of Tomahawk, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis
Sether, Steve and Mark, Mr. and Mrs. Vilas Lehmann, Mike and Jim, and Mr. and
Mrs. Harold Niemuth and family, all of Marion, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lehmann of
Bonduel, Gordon Umland and son of Kiel and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Smested of Neenah.
Also present from out of town were friends Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Johnson of
Rockford, Il., Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jahr and daugher of Marshfield, and Mr. and
Mrs. Gene Thiede of Tomahawk.
