Korupp, William F. (1884? – 15 JUN 1962)
William F. Korupp, 78, of 4605 Gordon Avenue, a retired Barneveld restaurant
owner, died Friday, June 15, 1962 at a Madison Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Frautschi Funeral Home,
with the Rev. Morris Wee, pastor of Bethel Lutheran Church, officiating.
Mr. Korupp was born near Blanchardville. He married the former Amelia Peterson
in 1917. He lived in Madison for the past six years, coming from Mt. Horeb,
where he moved from Blanchardville after retiring in 1955.
Surviving are his wife and several nieces and nephews, including Norman Larson,
5206 Camden Roda, Erling Larson, Kendall; and Mrs. James Ellingson, Milwaukee.
(Editor's Note: Mr. Korupp at one time was operator of a restaurant in what is
now the Greenwood Café. He was well known here.)
