Commencement exercises were held in the Garden Theater, Colorado State College,
Greeley, Colorado, on Thursday evening, August 16, 1962. Miss Joanne M. Miller,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arno A. Miller of R.R. 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.),
was a participant in the exercises, receiving her Master's Degree in Education.
Requirements for graduation included completion of 45 hours in business and
education and satisfactorily passing an intensive comprehensive examination.
She has done considerable research and study in the area of basic business and
ther effects of motivation on various ability groups. Recently, word was
received that SABE, a national business magazine, has accepted for publication
several articles she has written on the subject of automation and electronic
data processing in the classroom.
Miss Miller received her Bachelor's degree from Wisconsin State College,
Whitewater, in 1959, and has also done additional work at Northwestern
University. She is a graduate of Greenwood High School.
In September, Miss Miller will again return to Evanston Township High School,
Evanston, Ill., where she is a member of the Business Education Department.
