Michael Meke, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), has been awarded a $200 Clark-Taylor
County Bankers Scholarship to Attend University of Wisconsin farm Short Course
at Madison for a fifteen week term, which will begin November 11, 1962.
The University Farm Short Course has trained boys for faring since 1885 and
offers courses in all phases of successful farm management, such as soils,
crops, animal Husbandry, mechanics, marketing engineering and economics.
Michael is a 1957 graduate of the Greenwood Community Schools, where he took
Vocational Agriculture for four years and was a member of the local Chapter of
the Future Farmers of America.
