College Notes (Various - 2016)
Nicole Williams of Owen graduated Magna Cum Laude (GPA 3.5 to 3.79) May 7, 2016
from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She received a Bachelor of Science
(BS) degree in nursing.
Tiffany Tresemer of Neillsville was among the May 2016 graduates of the
UW-Milwaukee. She attended the Peck School of the Arts and received a Bachelor
of Fine Arts (BFA) degree.
Samuel Neville of Neillsville was named to the 2016 spring semester dean’s list
(Minimum 3.5 GPA) at St. Norbert College, De Pere.
Clare Knodle of Neillsville graduated May 7, 2016, from Clemson University,
South Carolina, with a Master of Science in biological sciences.
Abigail Wisniewski, a sophomore of Withee, was named to the spring 2016 semester
honors list (top 25 percent of all undergraduate students completing at least 12
credit hours) of Concordia University, Nebraska.
Samara Hull and Cara Hull of Colby were named to the 2016 spring semester dean’s
list (3.5 GPA while carrying at least 14 credit hours) of Carthage College,
Kenosha.
The following area students graduated in May from the UW-Stout in Menomonie:
Merrillan - Anna Herrick, BFA, graphic design and interactive media; Steven
Lubke, BS, business administration;
Neillsville - Aaron Aumann, BS, applied mathematics and computer science, and
BS, vocational rehabilitation; Lindsay Johnson, MS, education
The following area students were named to the UW-Whitewater Dean’s List (GPA 3.4
or above) for the 2016 spring semester:
Colby - Luke Kunze; Owen - Jessica Hurlebaus; Neillsville - Alex Darling;
Cameron Sheikh; Withee - Bryce Niemi
