Lindenman, Frederick Lee (29 September 1940 - 25 May 2016) With Flag

Frederick Lindenman, 75, of Neillsville died Wednesday, May 35, 2016, at his home on Grand Avenue.

Frederick Lee Lindenman was born Sept. 20, 1940, in Red Oak, IL, the son of Harold and Alice (Schradermeier) Lindenman. He graduated from high school in Orangeville, IL. Fred enlisted into the United States Army in 1962 and served until his honorable discharge in 1966. When he returned from the service, he traveled with his brother through Mexico and California, working in the grape vineyards. From there, he moved to Freeport, IL and worked for Kelly Springfield Tires.

He was united in marriage to Teresa J. Conkey June 1, 1968, in Forreston, IL. They purchased their farm on Grand Avenue in Neillsville in March of 1978 and moved there in September of that year; Fred farmed and was a licensed cattle buyer for many years. They sold the farm to their son, Victor, and his wife, Suzanne, in 2012, but Fred continued to buy and sell cattle.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; two sons: Vaughn Lindenman of Neillsville, and Victor (Suzanne) Lindenman of Neillsville; two grandchildren: Vance and Vanessa Lindenman; one sister, Barbara (Earl) Tillett of Freeport, IL; along with many nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Joyce; and two brothers: Albert and Earl.

No services are planned.
