Zettler, Susan D. (24 FEB 1968)
The marriage of Miss Susan Delores Zettler and Norbert A. Lavicka took place in
a 12 noon ceremony at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Wuerzburg, Saturday,
February 24, 1968, with the Rev. Charles P. Schumacher officiating.
Parents of the young people are Mr. and Mrs. Alton P. Zettler of Route 2,
Athens, and Mr. and Mrs. George Lavicka of R.R., Athens.
Attendants of the couple were Mr. and Mrs. James Bollech, Park Falls, a
brother-in-law and sister of the bride, serving as best man and matron of honor,
Carol Zettler, sister of the bride, and Thomas Lavicka, Athens, brother of the
groom, and Marlene Lavicka, Wausau, sister of the Groom and Larry Heindl,
Athens, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception, supper and dance were held at the Trianon
Ballroom.
For her wedding, the bride chose an empire A-line bridal gown with a satin
bodice, Chantilly lace skirt, and large detachable Watteau train from the
neckline. Her bouffant veil billowed from a headpiece of crystal, lace and seed
pearls.
She carried a floral arrangement of white and bright red carnations.
The matching bridesmaid gowns were in Nile green with satin bodices and cotton
alce skirts. Their small veils were attached to Nile green colored feather
headpieces. They carried bouquets of white and red mixed carnations and plain
white carnations.
Following a wedding trip, the couple is making their home in Edgar, where the
groom works as a carpenter.
