Wicker, Tom (4 MAY 1882 – 30 MAR 1968)
Tom Wicker, 85, Colby, died at noon Saturday, March 30, 1968, at the Leahy
Nursing Home at Abbotsford, where he had been living.
Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, April 2. The Rev. R. James Hagen officiated and burial was made in the
Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Wicker was born in the town of Hull May 4, 1882. He spent his entire life in
this central Wisconsin area as a farmer. On November 19, 1921, he was married to
the former Minnie Deuermeyer at Marshfield. She died in 1938, and in 1948, he
married Lydia Mueller, who preceded him in death in 1960.
There were no children.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. George Wicker of Colby, and many nieces
and nephews. Four brothers and sis sisters also preceded him in death.
