Dennis Wendt has served this past year as Vice-President of the local FFA chapter and has represented the chapter as a youth delegate to the Wisconsin Council of Agriculture Cooperative Annual Meeting, and has been a member of several judging teams.

Dennis' farming program consists of five cows that he owns and two heifers, in addition to maintaining herd records on the home herd for the past four years. He has also conducted test plots on the home farm.

In school activities he has been active in Pep Club, Senior Band, Dance Band, Pep Band and chorus.

At the Awards Day Program recently, he was awarded the pin which is presented annually to the graduating senior who, during his four years of vocational agriculture, has developed the most outstanding farming program.

He has served as Reporter, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-President and President of the Longwood 4-H Club, and has participated in many of the activities of the club, which has gained them local and state recognition.

Dennis plans to attend the Wisconsin Farm Short Course at the University of Wisconsin this fall, and then plans to farm.

Accompanying Dennis to Green Lake, will be Roger Schwarze, President-elect of the FFA Chapter, and Mr. Victor Wagner, his advisor.
