Bishel, Harry R. (4 April 1942 - 14 June 2016) With Flag
Harry R. Bishel, 74, of Humbird passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Black
River Memorial Hospital, under the care of Black River Memorial Hospice. He was
born April 4, 1942, in Waterloo, IA, to Harry and Pauline (Graff) Bishel.
Harry spent most of his life in Lake County, CA. He spent some time as a member
of the National Guard Reserve from 1963 until 1964.
Harry was united in marriage to Julie M. Greer. She later preceded him in death.
Harry had moved to the Humbird area about 16 years ago. He owned and operated
Wagon Wheel Bar and Grill, no known as Big Street Bar, in Humbird.
Harry started the Eagles Club AERIE 4075 of Lower Lake, CA, and he was a member
of the Heavy Machinery Operators in California. He enjoyed old cars, socializing
and helping others.
Harry is survived by his daughters: Suann Bishel of Humbird and Julie (Todd)
White of Crocket, CA; grandchildren: Tiffany and Summer White of Crocket, CA,
and Cory Bishel of Hercules, CA; step-daughter, Katherine Veazey of Green Briar,
AK; 2 step-grandchildren; brothers: Michael of Lower Lake, CA, and Donald of San
Pablo, CA; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Julie; and his mother Pauline.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Big Street
Bar in Humbird.
Buswell Funeral Home of Black River Falls is assisting the family with
arrangements.
