Hameloth, Judy Kay (Graduate - 7 June 1974)
Miss Judy Kay Hameloth, 21-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hameloth,
Rt. 1 Willard, and a 1970 graduate of Greenwood High School, graduated from
Burge School of Nursing, Springfield, Mo. June 7 in a class of 68 nurses.
Graduation exercises were held at Central Assembly of God Church there.
Miss Hameloth, who attended the school on a scholarship, was featured on the
1974 calendar which is used to recruit student nurses. She plans to work at the
Lester E. Cox Medical Center, a 620-bed hospital connected with the school of
nursing.
She will take state board exams June 26 and 27 and then spend a week with her
family in Wisconsin. Her mother, Mrs. Gorden Hameloth, sister, Jane and friend,
Keith Byler of St. Louis, Mo., attended the graduation ceremony.
Later, Miss Hameloth plans to continue studying for her Bachelor of Science
degree in nursing and work in public health nursing.
