Jake Family (Reunion - June 1974)
Fifty-three family members gathered Sunday at Listeman Park for a Jake family
reunion.
Among those present were the six William Jake children, and their families. They
included: the Orville Jakes and Mrs. Dorothy (Jake) Wallace of Neillsville, Mr.
and Mrs. Dana (Iva Jake) Albee and their daughter and son-in-law and grandson of
Cambria, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur (Ina Jake) Turner and their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Tyrone Turner of Kirkland, Il., Mr. and Mrs.
Harley Jake of Tacoma, Wa., and their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dan
Jake and four sons of Port Orchard, Wa., and Mr. and Mrs. Roger (Margaret Jake)
Riley and children of Hortonville.
Others attending from out-of-town were grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. Ron Wallace
and three children of Rockford, Il. Altogether, there were 10 William Jake
grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren present.
