Schuh, Sylvia Ann (Miller) Anderson (12 DEC 1961 - 18 JUN 2016)

Sylvia Ann Schuh, age 54 of Rib Lake, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Aspirus Medford Hospital.

The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 27, 2016 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Otto Bucher officiating.

Visitations will be at 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday June 26, 2016 at Hannah’s Hen House Bar & Grill in Rib Lake and also from 9:00 A.M. until time of services on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake.

Sylvia was born on December 12, 1961, in Sumner, Iowa, to Cletus Anton and Darlene Mae (Niemeyer) Miller.

She attended Sumner Area Grade School and was a 1980 graduate of Sumner Area High School in Sumner, Iowa.

On October 8, 1983, Sylvia married David Anderson and they were later divorced. On August 18, 2007, she married Thomas L. Schuh and he survives.

After high school, Sylvia worked for several small cafes in Iowa. She then moved to Stratford, WI where she worked as a manager for Family Dollar in Colby. In 2001, Sylvia owned and operated Hannah’s Hen House in Edgar. Sylvia and Tom then farmed for a short period of time before opening Hannah’s Hen House in Rib Lake in August of 2014. She loved to collect chicken memorabilia and key chains, attend auctions and her children’s events and concerts. Sylvia was a die-hard Iowa Hawk Eye fan, she liked to bake, cook, watch the sunset and she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Taylor County Tavern League and Fenwood Lions Club.

Sylvia is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Schuh of Rib Lake; children Benjamin Anderson of Stratford, Hannah Schuh of Rib Lake; step children Danielle Schuh of Kansas City, Missouri, Brittney (Pat) Schuh of Flint, Michigan, Ashley (Dan) Schuh of Stevens Point, Chelsea (Chris) Schuh of Madison and Tommy Schuh of Rib Lake; two grandchildren Kobe and Eli.

She is also survived by siblings Mark (Lisa) Miller, Sue (Phil) Nidert, Karla (Dave) Blume, Kim (Dan) Ellis, James (Sara) Miller all of Sumner, Iowa and Dan (Liz) Miller of Purcellville Virginia; many nieces and nephews from both sides of her family.

Sylvia is predeceased by her parents Cletus Anton and Darlene Mae (Niemeyer) Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her family to be designated at a later date.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford & Rib Lake are assisting the family with arrangements.
