Erickson, Edward (8 JUN 1879 – 17 MAY 1968)

Funeral services for Edward Erickson, 88, a former Unity resident who died May 17, 1968 at Riverview Hospital at Wisconsin Rapids, were held Monday, May 20, at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby.

The Rev. R. James Hagen officiated at the 2 p.m. services. Interment was made in the town of Brighton Cemetery, rural Unity.

Edward Gustav Erickson was born in Clark County, Wisconsin June 8, 1879. He attended local elementary schools and was also a graduate of Rodon's Business College in Ashland.

He spent his entire life farming in Clark County, until four years ago when he moved to the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Robinson, at Wisconsin Rapids.

Besides his daughter, he is survived by two sons, Eric Erickson of Unity and Richard Erickson of Darin, Oregon. There are also seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
