Two Colby students will be graduating this spring from Wisconsin State
University, River Falls.
Jack Boss, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Boss, and LeRoy Wellman, son of Elmer
Wellman, all of rural Colby, will be awarded Bachelor of Science degrees in
agricultural education, with minors in industrial arts.
Commencement ceremonies will be Sunday, May 26, 1968. Dr. E.H. Kleinpell, who
served as president at River Falls from 1946 to 1967, will return as the
commencement speaker during ceremonies in which 574 seniors will receive
degrees.
The Kleinpell Carillon purchased for the university through contributions from
students, faculty, alumni and community residents as a tribute to the school's
former president, will be heard in its first concert before the graduation
ceremonies
