The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hammel of route 2, Athens (Marathon Co., Wis.), was baptized Friday evening, May 17, 1968, at 8 o'clock at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan, with the Rev. Charles Schumacher officiating. Miss Mary Gumz of route 2, Athens, and David Gierl of Abbotsford acted as proxies for the sponsors, Mrs. Ben Chris of La Porte, Indiana, and Gregory Kleinstick of Gary, Indiana.
