Bedora, Sharon (1 NOV 1946 – 26 MAY 1968)
Mrs. David Bedora, 21, of Green Bay, the former Sharon Hargraves, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George Hargraves of route 2, Athens, and her five month old son,
Louis, were killed Sunday night in a highway crash on U.S. 41, about six miles
north of Green Bay.
David Bedora, a driver of the car, was the only survivor in the two-car crash
which took the lives of Gloria K. Carlson, 18, of rural Daggett, Mich., and
Nancy C. Pokovich, 23, of Milwaukee, occupants of the other car.
A service will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at Pound at the First
Baptist Church, after which the bodies will be brought to Abbotsford and lie in
state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held there at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. Kenneth Dix
officiating.
Burial will be made in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery – North, at 5:30 p.m.
She was born November 1, 1946, and was a graduate of the Athens High School. Her
marriage took place in 1967 to David Bedora.
Surviving are her husband, her parents, a brother, David, sister, Paulette
Hargraves, at home, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tischendorf of
Dorchester, and Mrs. Magdalena Hargraves of Athens.
