U.S. Forces, Germany – (AHTNC) – Army Sgt. Wallace Miller, 19, son of Mrs. Olive
Gibson, Route 1, Willard (Clark Co.), Wis., and other members of the 4th Armored
Division, completed a four-week field training exercise in Germany, July 31,
1963.
The training consisted of range firing and squad, platoon and company level
tactics and field problems. During the exercise, Sergeant Miller's unit took its
annual Army Training Test.
Miller is a squad leader in Company C, 1st Armored Rifle Battalion of the
division's 51st Infantry in Germany.
The Sergeant entered the Army in November 1960 and was stationed at Fort Riley,
Kansas, before arriving overseas in April 1961.
