On Saturday, August 17, 1963, at Immaculate Conception Church, in Waukegan, Ill., Miss Patricia Petkovsek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Petkovsek, R. 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Marvin Whitney, son of Mr. Frank Whitney, of Waukegan, Ill. Father Cull officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The wedding gown, chosen by the bride, was of pure silk organza over taffeta, fashioned with long brides point sleeves, scalloped Sabrina neckline, featuring French Alencon lace throughout the entire bodice into the front of the bouffant skirt, which had a double butterfly pouf back, which fell into a full swept chapel train.

The bride is a graduate of the Greenwood High School and the groom graduated from Waukegan Township High School.
