Greunke, Dennis (14 DEC 1953 - 28 NOV 2013)

MADISON - Dennis Greunke, age 61, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on Dec. 14, 1953, in Auburndale, the son of Armin and Dorothy (Broeske) Greunke.

Dennis married Rebecca Hensler on May 15, 1982, in South Bend, Ind. He overcame many obstacles throughout his life, and he always came out smiling. His faith was a very important part of his life. Dennis loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; son, Dennis (Heather) and Matthew (fiancée, Katlyn); grandson, Quintin; and mother, Dorothy. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Armin; sister, Sharon; and brother, Roger.

Funeral services will be held at EASTSIDE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2310 Independence Lane, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, with the Rev. Glen Schmiege presiding.
