The first job that Mr. Dallman ever held was that of mason work under his father's supervision. In 1916 he began working for the electric company at Fond du Lac and Milwaukee. He was a messenger in World War I, and upon returning home he began working for the United State Power Company in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). He was then on the maintenance crew. He also did carpentry work in Minnesota and municipality work in the Colby area. In November of 1937, he began working at the Clark Electric Cooperative, where eh now hold the position of General Manager. This is his 27th year in that position.

Mr. Dallman was married in 1919 and he is the father of a son and daughter. His home is located on the south end of town.

Mr. and Mrs. Dallman are now building a home in Buffalo City. He hopes to retire the first of July. I am sure that his absence will be deeply felt by the cooperative.

He has a wide variety of hobbies, among which are the making of furniture, repairing of furniture, the making of gun stocks, and the knitting and making of landing nets.

W.A. Dallman feels that his most important job has been that of General Manager of Clark Electric Cooperative in Greenwood, because it gives him an opportunity to bring services to the rural areas.
