Miss Lila Schwarze, left, a junior at Luther Hospital School of Nursing, Eau Claire, has been award a $7 scholarship given each year by the Eau Claire Business and Professional Women's Club. The award was presented by Miss Elda Happe, right, chairman of the scholarship committee, Tuesday evening, at the club's birthday anniversary meeting. This award is based on scholarship and professional attitude. Mrs. Doris Friedman, center, is the president of the organization. Miss Schwarze is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlin Schwarze of rural Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). Her mother attended the presentation.
