Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth (Golden - 24 June 1974)
Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Schultz, Rt. 1 Neillsville observed their golden wedding
anniversary Saturday evening, June 22, with a dinner at Bali Hai supper club for
their immediate relatives and a get-together with neighbors and friends at the
Wild Cat Inn Sunday evening, June 23.
Helmuth and Ruth (Lautenbach) Schultz were both born and educated in the Town of
Grant in Clark County and were married June 24, 1924, in that same township.
Their attendants were her sister, Laura (Lautenbach) Wall of Neillsville and his
brother, Otto Schultz, now deceased.
Mr. and Mrs. Schultz are members of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The couple farmed in the Town of Pine Valley for 46 years. Mr. Schultz is now
retired and enjoys his outdoor work of caring for his yard and buildings. Mrs.
Schultz, besides her housekeeping, has been employed as a nurse’s assistant at
memorial Hospital for the past 17 years.
Their family consists of two daughters, Marvelin, Mrs. George Van Tatenhove of
Minnetonka, Mn, and Shirley, Mrs. Ronald Ziegler of Neillsville; two sons-in-law
and five grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Schultz are in fairly good health.
