Paschall, Gail L. (20 December 1949 - 8 July 2016)
Gail L. Paschall (nee Stigen), 66, of Cudahy, formerly of Stevens Point, passed
away peacefully at home, Friday, July 8, 2016, with both her children at her
side.
Gail was born Dec. 20, 1949, the first child of Dorothy (nee Fleck) and Argil W.
Stigen of Neillsville.
Gail felt her proudest accomplishments were having successfully raised her
children as a single mother while matriculating and graduating with a high GPA
from the university of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a degree in English, theater
arts.
She taught high school for one year before becoming an instructor of
communication skills at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
Throughout her life, Gail was known as a kind and caring person. She was a
loving and compassionate woman whose laugh brightened many faces. She was a
devoted, doting mother and adoring “Grammy,” full of patience and love for her
two grandchildren with whom she spent many hours partaking in their care and
happiness. During her retirement years, she found joy in volunteer activities
with AARP and Clement Avenue School as well as other volunteer duties. Gail’s
infectious laugh, kind heart and compassion for her personal causes will never
be forgotten. She will live on in our hearts forever. Her energy will always be
with us, because she was simply awesome.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ellen M. Stigen and Catherine A.
Bielmeier.
She is survived, forever loved and greatly missed by her parents, Argil and
Dorothy Stigen; her children, Regina Marie (Jason) Maline and Timothy Eugene (Chelsey
Pfiffner) Paschall; her grandsons, Knox Lincoln Corbin and Houston Sturtevant
Paschall; as well as many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
A memorial visitation will be held Satruday, July 16, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at
the Passer-Kleczka Funeral Home, 3275 S. Howell Avenue, Milwaukee. Eulogy
service will begin at 3 p.m. All are invited to partake in the memory of her
life. Burial will follow at Neillsville City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Gail asked to consider memorials to the Southern Poverty Law
Center (www.splcenter.org) .
