Gajewsky, Lori Jo (Marriage - 22 June1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Allen Gajewsky, Owen, presented their daugher, Miss Lori Jo Gajewsky, in marriage to Galen R. Scharer II on Satruday, June 22, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. G. R. Scharer, Owen. The Rev. Robert Sullivan performed the 4 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Meadowview country club, Owen.

Carrying a bouquet of white carnations and pink sweetheart roses, the bride appeared in a gown of silk organza with a white daisy trim. White daisies also trimmed her three-tiered veil and headpiece.

Miss Sara Gajewsky was the maid of honor and Mrs. Deborah Turner, White Bear Lake, Mn, was the bridesmaid. Pink and green embossed flowers accented their white, peasant style gowns complimented by pink picture hats. Flower girls Nicole and Terri Gajewsky wore similar gowns with peasant scarves. The bridal attendants’ bouquets of pink daisies and white baby’s breath were duplicated in the white wicker basket arrangements carried by the flower girls.

Serving as bestman was Dennis Brahmer, Elderon. Mike Turner, White Bear Lake, Mn, was the groomsman. Guests were seated by Tom Mauel and Robert Gajewsky, both of Owen.

Music at the wedding included a solo by Carol Slobodnik and a duet by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wyatt. Rhonda Buss was the organist.

The bride was honored at a prenuptial shower given by Mary Lehnen, Janet Hansen and Barbara Karaba.

The newlyweds, who will make their home at the Five Seasons Trailer Court, Davenport, Ia., following a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, are both graduates of Owen-Withee High School. The groom attended the University Center at Medford for a year and one-half and the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, for one semester. He is a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Ia.
