James H. Schley, 64 of Gilman, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 from the result of a farm accident.

He was born on January 20, 1952 at the Stanley hospital, the son of the late Orre and Dorothy (Chaplinski) Schley.

Jim grew up south of Gilman and graduated from Gilman High in 1970. He married Susan Lis on September 25, 1971 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church-Gilman.

A funeral mass will be at 11AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church-Gilman with Father Manu Sleeva and Rev. Msgr Joseph Jarmoluk concelebrating.

Interment will take later in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Church with an 8 PM Rosary.

Visitation will continue Wednesday at 10AM also at the Church.

Plombon Funeral Service-Gilman assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials are encouraged to the Gilman Fire Department in Jim’s name.
