Saibold, Linda Marie (Marriage - 28 June 1974)
Miss Linda Marie Saibold of Greenfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Saibold
of Rt. 1 Neillsville, became the bride of Daniel Russell Kohl in a 7 p.m.
ceremony performed Friday, June 28, at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, by the
Rev. Everett Schleef. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Kohl, Marshfield, are the groom’s
parents.
Bali Hai supper club was chosen for a reception, dinner and dance following the
ceremony.
For her wedding, the bride chose a short sleeved, empire style gown of brocade
lace and sheer nylon organza complimented by a fingertip veil. She carried a
bouquet of yellow roses, miniature white carnations and baby’s breath as she was
presented in marriage by her father.
Mrs. Richard Carolfi, Granton, matron of honor, wore a mint green empire style
gown accented with a bouquet of multi-colored flowers.
David Kohl, Stratford, served as bestman. Ushering duties were shared by Richard
Carolfi, Granton, and Lee Drescher, Neillsville.
The soloist was Miss Elsie Garbisch and the organist, Mrs. Leland Garbisch.
A 1969 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1973 graduate of the University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, the new Mrs.
Kohl is employed as a registered nurse. Her husband is a 1968 graduate of
Columbus High School, Marshfield, and is employed as an electrician. Upon their
return from a wedding trip to Canada, they will live in Marshfield.
