The Greenwood High School class of 1949 held a reunion a week ago Saturday evening with a 7:30 o'clock dinner at K-Corners. Present for the occasion were 56 persons, 30 of the graduates of the class of 51. The group paused in silence in memory of a deceased member, Dolores Wessel.

The occasion was planned by a committee composed of Mrs. Victor Wagner, Mrs. Chester Nirva, and Frank Urbanz. It was decided to hold another reunion in 1969. The committee for arrangements is Mrs. Victor Wagner, Chairman; Floyd Plautz, and Mrs. Dan McCarty.

Everett Gorsegner, Loyal, was master of ceremonies. Awards were presented to Gladys (Drew) Ackerman, Grandview, Mo., for coming the greatest distance; Alice (Franz) Verhulst, Loyal, married the longest time; Stanley Pernic, Deerfield, Ill., the most recently married; Floyd Plautz, Greenwood, the largest family; Agnes (McKenna) Hardinger, Marshfield, the one with the newest baby; and to Gary Corey, Neillsville, the least hair.
