Zepaltas, Nancy Carolyn (24 OCT 1964)

Exchanging marriage vows in the presence of the Rev. Edward Hartung in St. Mary's Catholic Church at Greenwood at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 1964, were Miss Nancy Carolyn Zepaltas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Zepaltas, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Leo Charles Fellenz, 609 S. Maple Ave., son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen H. Fellenz, 109 S. Vine Ave., Marshfield.

Cpl. John Zepaltas of the U.S. Marine Corps gave his sister in marriage. St. Mary's choir sang for the wedding and the church altar was decorated with floal arrangements.

Norman Fellenz, Marshfield, and John Zepaltas of California seated the wedding guests, who came from Chicago, La Salle, North Lake, Round Lake and Elmhurst, Ill.; from California and from Milwaukee Phillips, Greenwood, Marshfield, Loyal, Wilmot, Shawano and Stratford, Wisconsin.

The bride's white brocade gown has an empire waist, sheath skirt and Watteau back. Her veil fell from a brocade pillbox and her crescent bouquet included yellow roses, a yellow orchid and white stephanotis.

Miss Helen Duddy of Chicago, Ill. was the maid of honor and Miss Mary Anna Zepaltas, Greenwood, and Miss Sue Hare, Marshfield, served as bridesmaids.

Their Kelly green bell-shaped dresses had lace trimmed bodices and they held crescent shaped arrangements of bronze and yellow chrysanthemums.

Ronald Johnson of Marshfield served in the capacity of best man, while Allen Fellenz, Marshfield and Peter Behrens, Milwaukee; were the groomsmen.

The wedding dinner was served at St. Mary's Hall and the reception took place at the bride's parental home.

The new Mrs. Fellenz, who took her nurse's training at St. Anthony de Padua Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago, was employed at that hospital as a nurse.

Her husband, who served in the U.S. Navy for four years, is a 1960 graduate of Columbus High School. Mr. and Mrs. Fellenz will make their home in Milwaukee.
