Sgt. Bud Thoele, Air Force representative from Eau Claire, announce the
enlistment of Miss Dorothy T. LeDuc, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles LeDuc of
Route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), into the United States Air Force. Miss LeDuc
enlisted at Minneapolis, Minnesota on the 27th of November and was flown to
Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, where she will receive six weeks of basic
training before going into her selected training program.
Dorothy graduated from Greenwood High School in 1964. Sgt. Thoele said that
Dorothy enlisted in the Air Force to take advantage of the excellent technical
training and travel opportunities that the Air Force offers young men and women
today. Information on all Air Force programs can be obtained by contacting Sgt.
Thoele through the local Post Office, or write to: USAF Recruiting OFC, 31
Federal OFC Building, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, or call 832-8486. Appointments can
be arranged at your convenience, with absolutely no obligation involved. Sgt.
Thoele said that there are immediate openings for persons interested in
mechanical, electronic, general or administrative career areas.
