Grabara, Mr./Mrs. George Sr. (40th – 13 DEC 1964)
Mr. and Mrs. George Grabara Sr., Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), celebrated their
40th Wedding Anniversary, Sunday, December 13, 1964, by attending a 1:00 High
Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Father Edward Hartung officiating, and
3 grandsons as servers, and their son and son-in-law as ushers.
Mrs. Grabara was seen in a lavender dress with corsage of yellow mums and a
boutonniere for Mr. Grabara. They had a dinner for approximately 40 guests at
Langreck's. The table was decorated for the occasion and a large cake baked and
decorated by their son.
Those attending the occasion were their three children and families: Mr. and
Mrs. Bill (Mary) Weiss, Appleton; Mr. and Mrs. Jerome (Elsie) Sowieja, and Mr.
and Mrs. George Grabara Jr., all of Greenwood. Other guests were: Mr. and Mrs.
Bruce Thiel and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Debevec, Willard; Mr. and Mrs.
Stanley Raik, Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Langreck and Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Bergemann. The
honored couple received many cards, gifts and money.
