Fred Kauffman of Unity visited his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Fleischman, at Green Vista on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. George Kelley returned Thursday evening from a two week stay in Las
Vegas, Tucson and Phoenix. They were with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Schultz, at Phoenix. His brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kelley, of
Snoqualmie, Washington, joined them at Tucson and they spent a few days
together.
Emery Jensen, who was home on leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jensen,
left Tuesday of last week and on Saturday left from California to Vietnam.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fleischman called on friends at Victory Memorial Hospital and
at Sunset Home at Stanley Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Alice Sybeldon is now at her home, following surgery at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield. She was convalescing at the Leahy Nursing Home for three
weeks and went to her own home Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Dennis Schelling and infant daughter were dismissed from St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday and are spending some time at the Noel Schelling
home.
Miss Tana House, who attends Wisconsin State University, Oshkosh, came Thursday
evening to attend the funeral of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Bublitz.
She stayed at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold House, until Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Panzenhagen and two children of North Palm Beach, Florida,
also came Tuesday and stayed until Sunday. Mrs. Panzenhagen is the former Margie
Bublitz, and sister of Mrs. House.
Mrs. Irene Swienton of Ladysmith spent the weekend at the home of her son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Swienton, and family. Her birthday
anniversary was observed Saturday evening.
The birthday anniversary of John Miller, which was March 12, was celebrated the
following Sunday at the Miller home. Guests were Mrs. Miller's mother, Mrs. Anna
Gripentrog, and Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Gripentrog of Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs.
Sigurt Nelson, Stevens Point.
Mrs. Harvey Bitter was readmitted to Memorial Hospital of Taylor County,
Medford, Tuesday of last week. The following Monday afternoon, Mr. Bitter was
permitted to bringer her home.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bargenquast and family have purchased the Mrs. Edna Peterson
house on N. Third Street and moved there over the weekend. They were living in
the Julius Kramer house on South First Street.
Mr. and Mrs. James Lamont and family are in the process of moving from North
First Street to the former Charles Hoffman house on Highway 13 South. They
purchased it from Mr. and Mrs. John Miller.
