Andrew, Gerald Paul (31 OCT 1945 – 23 MAR 1969)
Gerald Paul Andrew, 23, Colby, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home
Sunday, March 23, 1969. He was found by his wife upon her return from visiting
in Fond du Lac with her parents.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, March 27, at 10:30 a.m. at St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Colby, and burial will be made in Colby Memorial
Cemetery. The Rev. John Pinion will officiate.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Lulloff Funeral Home.
Gerald Andrew was born in Colby October 31, 1945. He married Judith Kommer June
26, 1965, at St. Mary's Catholic Church Colby. He received his education in the
Colby schools. After school he worked at Spencer Sports for several years, and
has worked two years at Packaging Corporation in Colby. He was a member of St.
Mary's Church and also the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors, besides his wife, include two children, Lisa, who is three, and Lynn,
who is one; six brothers and sisters: Carol (Mrs. James Quall) of Eau Claire,
Dale, Daniel, James Janice and John, all at home, and his parents, Ralph and
Rose Andrew.
A general rosary was said on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church in
Colby.
