Fuller, John Edward (17 FEB 1886 – 27 MAR 1969)
John Edward Fuller, 83, Unity, died Thursday, March 27, 1969, at Luther Hospital
at Eau Claire.
Services were held Monday, March 31 at the Methodist Church in Colby at 1:30
p.m., and burial was made in the town of Brighton Cemetery. The Rev. R. James
Hagen officiated.
The Lulloff Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Mr. Fuller came to this area as a young boy with his parents, who farmed in the
town of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.). He attended the Unity area schools and married
Mary Sheldon March 20, 1906. As a young man he worked in the sawmills of the
area, was a carpenter, and managed the Unity Feed Company for many years. He
also served as Unity Village President, Trustee and Clerk at various times. He
held the position of Clerk of the Unity School Board for many eyars. He was a
member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fuller died in 1965.
Survivors include five children, Lyle Fuller of Wausau; Bernice (Mrs. Floyd
Fahlgren) of Monroe; Mrs. C.P. Olson of Eau Claire; Wayne of Janesville, and
Rodney of Wisconsin Rapids. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren.
