Schraufnagel, Floyd (13 MAR 1910 – 1 APR 1969)
Floyd Schraufnagel, 59, died of an apparent heart attack in Chicago Tuesday,
April 1, 1969. Burial was made in Chicago Friday.
Mr. Schraufnagel was born March 13, 1910 in the town of Hull (Marathon Co.,
Wis.), the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aloys (Allie) Schraufnagel. He attended Riverside
rural school and the Colby High School.
His marriage to Alice Stack took place February 27, 1937, at Chicago.
Mr. Schraufnagel lived in Chicago the past 35 years. For a time he owned and
operated a service station there, and at the time of his death was manager of a
parking area in Chicago.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Charlene and Alice, both married;
five grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Alice Schraufnagel of Marshfield; three
brothers, Elmer of Abbotsford, Eldred of Tomah, and Milton of Gardena,
California; and two sisters, Mrs. Peter (Ella) Alexander of Medford and Mrs. V.E.
(Lela) Galloway, Riverdale, Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mrs. Alexander and John Alexander of Medford attended the funeral in Chicago.
